Dr. Gustavo Bracho finished his degree in Biochemistry in 1997 at Havana University, Cuba. He started his professional career as a researcher at the Research & Development Division of Finlay Institute, a world-renowned centre for vaccine research and production in Havana, Cuba. He completed his PhD degree in Molecular Immunology in 2004. In the same year he became the Head of the Adjuvant Group within the Immunology Department. From 1997 to 2007, Gustavo worked on basic research and development of novel vaccines and adjuvants. In 2007 he was appointed as Advisor to the President and General Director of Finlay Institute. His expertise comprises of multiple fields including immunology, vaccinology, molecular and cellular biology, data analysis, epidemiology and ultra-dilutions. He also has experience in setting up and managing GMP facilities.
